Pedal Safe Boston founder and infrastructure expert Jay Cashman has launched a new podcast, ‘Street Smarts’, with the first episode live today.
Cashman was drawn into Boston’s bike lane controversy when poorly planned changes appeared outside his own front door. That experience opened his eyes to how decisions about the city’s streets are made and how often residents feel left out of the process.
Street Smarts takes the conversation directly to the streets, giving space to the voices and perspectives that City Hall often overlooks. The podcast focuses on having the important conversations about how to make Boston’s bike lanes and broader infrastructure safer and more effective.
